Developer Resources

DSP giant Texas Instruments brings considerable market breadth into its relationship with QNX. While the two companies have been engaged in a number of markets since 2003, the automotive market has been of considerable focus, particularly for applications such as radio, turn-by-turn navigation and telematics.

QNX and Texas Instruments have had considerable production success by working closely to support customers with digital signal processor-based (DSP) and System On Chip (SOC) automotive infotainment applications, including digital radios, navigation systems, telematics systems and hands-free phone kits. The modular QNX Neutrino realtime operating system and advanced middleware, when combined with the highly integrated TI OMAP™ and Davinci™ technologies, have enabled automotive customers to develop industry leading, media rich solutions.

Strategic Collaboration

In 2004. QNX and TI signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement which provides commitment by both parties to align roadmaps around future technologies, as well as provide each other, and our mutual customers, direct support.
